The Voices of MS documentary is focused on educating and supporting those who either may not be aware of this disease or may be directly affected by it. This film works to:

  1. To raise awareness among a general population that is unfamiliar or only vaguely familiar with this neurological condition.

  2. To be screened for caregivers and health professionals, to provide insight and increase their sensitivity regarding how the disease is experienced from their clients' point of view.

  3. To raise conversation topics and initiate discussions about the disease in a variety of group settings.

  4. To create a sense of community within groups and among individuals who have been diagnosed with MS.

  5. To serve as a tool for people who have been diagnosed with MS and find they have a need to improve their communications with family members, friends or colleagues who care but don't really understand the disease and its effects.

The Voices of MS documentary was shot in the digi-Beta format, was professionally produced and consequently has high production value. It is approximately one hour in length and is subdivided into five chapters, which can be readily accessed on the DVD.
